About us

Apulia is the ideal place for a sun and sea holiday, as so many of our beaches are among the best anywhere in Italy. But it is also the perfect place for a holiday on the go, discovering everything from art and nature, to excellent cuisine, fine wines, culture and tradition. In the heart of Apulia lies the Valle d'Itria, the valley of the trulli, an undulating landscape with trulli and farmsteads dotted everywhere, fields enclosed by dry stone walls, one of the most attractive areas not just in Apulia but in the whole of Italy. This is a truly unique place, with photogenic towns such as Alberobello, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Ostuni being the very stuff of dreams.
In this magical land, a group of friends united by an overwhelming love for the Valley decided to restore and live in a dimension that is both physical and emotional, turning dreams into action by choosing to live in dwellings that are something out of the ordinary. They share a common goal: to live and work together in the home of their dreams and to share their knowledge with those who will appreciate travelling to, visiting and staying in these wonderful places.

Nicla Ferrante and Rodolfo Del Frassino are the owners of Trullo Monte Zuzzu, the only trullo with a sea view. They are the promoters of this site and the first people that guests will contact.
Rodolfo, a professional cook with over 20 years' experience, is available on request to delight your palates with the typical dishes from the local Apulian cuisine.

Titti Mazzacane, the lively owner of Trullo Collina Primosole, is an interior decorator and sophisticated designer by trade. Her trullo has acquired a unique charm, while maintaining the authentic feel of the trullo genre.

The owners of Trullo alla Marina, Michele Moscato and Rosanna Panebianco, are young dynamic veterinary surgeons with a love of nature and of animals. They have refurbished their old family trullo to provide holiday accommodation for the growing number of people who come to enjoy the delights of our homeland.

Mario D'Aversa was born in Cisternino, but lived for a while in Milan and Naples. An enthusiastic ecologist, he got back to his roots by refurbishing this ancient house in the heart of the old city of Cisternino. He called the building Barrio Antico House in memory of the old quarters in Spanish cities, the Barrio, and the name of the quarter where his white house is located, i.e. Ber Vecch.

Owners Gianmario Allegro and Paola Centurini, are well-travelled art experts, both of whom originally hail from Milan. Their passion has helped them to choose the Valle d'Itria as a place to live and work. This passion is all too evident in the attention to detail which they have used to refurbish their large house making it an ideal place for rejuvenating mind and body.

Fabia Aberani is the nice landlady of the delightful trullo which has her name. Her husband Pino and she, are very fond of nature and antiquities. They are also very found of gardening and bricolage and they have also carried out some fittings and features which are typical of the Trullo.

Entrepreneurs Salvatore and Stefania Minuco, a friendly Sicilian/Roman couple, are the owners of Trullo La Zisa. Their love for Apulia and their excellent sense of taste help to give this perfectly refurbished home an exquisitely nostalgic ad traditional atmosphere.

Agnese Di Noia, a passionate wine expert, and her husband, Savino Marroccoli, a homeopathic surgeon and nutritionist, look forward to welcoming even the most sophisticated and demanding “palates”, in the most ancient part of their summer house, and to providing advice on quality wines and how to match dishes with the right wines.
